Integrated Laboratory Automation for R&D

Connect heterogeneous devices, streamline workflows, and automate test sequences. From low-level PLC logic to responsive WebGUIs and drag-and-drop visual programming.

Unified Protocol Integration

We ingest, process, and unify almost any communication protocol (including OPC UA, Profinet, Flowbus, Modbus, CAN, and serial connections). All variables — whether physical sensors or calculated metrics — are exposed through a single, unified data interface.

PLC & Python-Backend Execution

Automation running exactly where you need it. We implement robust, real-time control logic directly on the PLC (Siemens S7-1500, Bachmann), or deploy high-performance Python backends to manage complex test stand behaviors and data streaming.

Simulation & X-in-the-Loop (XiL)

Bridge the gap between physical testing and numerical models. By leveraging our open architecture, you can directly couple external simulation models (e.g., MATLAB/Simulink, CFD) with the physical test bench, enabling Hardware-in-the-Loop (HiL) and Model-in-the-Loop (MiL) workflows.

Visual Programming via Google Blockly

Our visual scripting interface allows researchers to design test sequences, logical loops, and automated safety routines visually using drag-and-drop blocks. Fully synchronized in real-time via WebSockets — no coding required.

Fiona WebGUI: Dynamic & Platform-Independent

Our custom-developed WebGUI brings modern, responsive UX to the laboratory.

  • Dynamic Dashboards: Researchers can customize their workspace without programming, using a 12-column drag-and-drop widget grid (powered by GridStack.js). Add chart widgets, status lights, or loggers on the fly.

  • Real-Time Visualization: Measurement data is streamed directly to your browser via WebSockets with a latency of less than 200 ms.

  • Zero Installation: The entire stack runs on a lightweight Server. Access the interface securely from any desktop, tablet, or smartphone in your local network via the browser of your choice.
