01
Spray chambers
During our time at the university, we operated, redesigned, modernized, and adapted various spray chambers to new fuels, new measurement techniques or special environments, such as synchrotrons.
02
Lab Fuel Systems
Essential for spray investigation are suitable fuel systems for the application, whether diesel pressures up to 4000 bar, gas fuel systems, or liquid gases, supply systems for pre-chambers – our basic concept is flexibly adaptable to the respective needs.

03
Gas Injection Rate Measurements
With the advent of hydrogen gas injectors, the question quickly arises about the dynamic mass flow rates. The pressure rise method is typically used for measuring gas flow rates. We have extensively explored the various devices, designed an own solution and developed various calibration methods for such systems.
04
Tomographic Spray Reconstruction
Especially DBIEI measurements are well-suited for tomographic reconstruction. The result is three-dimensional renderings of the spray and a very precise resolution of the spray targets in multi-nozzle sprays. Particularly in cases where the classical light-section technique encounters problems due to strong light attenuation, tomography demonstrates its strengths.
